Application/Curriculum Vitae and Interview Assistance
The Recruitment of Policy Leaders Program (RPL) is a relatively new, highly competitive federal government initiative to staff advanced-level policy positions across the public service with a cadre of well-educated individuals from a variety of academic and work backgrounds. To be considered for the initial interview, however, your Application/CV must convey your background in a manner that satisfies government screening procedures based on arcane personnel criteria which are not explained in the online job posting.
To enable you to excel and advance your candidacy in this brief, heavily subscribed recruitment campaign, we work with you personally to: interpret government language and the requirements underlying this process; identify, choose and structure your obvious and hidden assets to use in applying; craft your CV to demonstrate evidence that matches government demands and to invite further consideration of your suitability for RPL jobs. Once you are short-listed for an initial interview, we also can provide proven training to enable you to perform effectively before the RPL interview panel.

We guide you through the RPL outline on the government website to “net out” what is really needed to apply successfully
We do a detailed review of your current CV/resume and provide precise, informed comments plus a sample document showing how to improve the substance and format of your application for this competition
We explore your background with you to determine potential additional assets you may have to bolster your candidacy
We can either coach you to develop an improved CV on your own, coach you and edit your outputs for submission, or write your CV for you in its entirety
We can prepare you for your interview at the next stage of the RPL entry process

Long distance consultations are carried out only on calls placed by clients. Times can be arranged to take advantage of discount rates, international time zones, and client availability.
